OK, I did this meme over a year ago and it was only 25 songs then I think...

Step 1: Put your music player on shuffle.
Step 2: Post the first line (unless the first line reveals the song title) from the first 30 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing.
Step 3: Strike through the songs when someone guesses both artist and track correctly. (OK, I'm not actually striking them thru, but am filling them in and adding Youtube links to the videos...)
Step 4: Looking them up on Google or any other search engine is CHEATING!
Step 5: If you like the game, post your own!

This was tough since almost all the music I have in iTunes is instrumental! I had to download more sings to keep from repeating the same artists over and over...

Sorry no new fic tonight all. I decided to socialize in RL and leave my keyboard for a while, went to a party with a bunch of MIT alums and friends who have a longstanding Every Friday the 13th soiree. Had a grand time, tasted a very nice 14-year Oban (scotch), and got into a very long involved conversation with a gay acquaintance about... fanfic! (You can take the girl away from LJ, but you can't take the... whatever.) He reads HP (Sirius/Lupin) and also Buffyverse, though he admitted, amazingly, he prefers the het stuff in Buffy! Wow.

Meanwhile, I've been told that it is Beta Appreciation Day, and so if I haven't said it before, big thanks to miraba who reads almost everything and nitpicks with the best of them, kyuuketsukirui who really takes some of my trainwreck grammar sentences and makes them painlessly smooth, strickens_girl who really gave me moral support and the will to keep going when 'Draco's Folly' was at its darkest, jordangrant for Snape-checking and always great advice on plot issues, sorchar for helping to weave the tangled threads of Malfoycest, your drooling enthusiasm really does mean a lot to me!
