spanish nights cover 200x300SPANISH NIGHTS is a new novella based on material that originally appeared in my web serial, but with new elements added, additional sex scenes, and made to stand alone. It’s the story of a torrid affair between two men whose common languages are music and sex. It’s also my first experiment with Kindle Unlimited, so this particular ebook is only available right now on Amazon for $2.99 (or free if you’re a KU member)!

It’s got lots of what I do best–sex scenes–and lots of what I do almost as well, which is writing about art and music. :-)

For those who haven’t read Daron’s Guitar Chronicles–YOU DON’T HAVE TO! You can jump in and read this novella without needing to read any of the rest of DGC. If you’re a fan of m/m or my erotic slash fiction or my books like The Prince’s Boy, please give this one a try, and tell your friends!

If you’re in KU, I will receive a small royalty from Amazon for every page a KU member looks at. So please do page through it if you’re a KU member!

I’ll post a hot excerpt tomorrow. I’m on the road today at a convention and need to pick something suitably hot out!

Official description:

Two men, a chance meeting, a torrid affair.

One an internationally known rock star, the other from the streets of Spain: they meet in an erotic tale as hot as a summer night in Seville, as seductive as red wine and song.

Daron didn’t expect to find a lover that day at the airport. He didn’t expect to suddenly change his plans and fly to Spain instead of Boston. But sometimes opportunity knocks and you have to grab Fate by the lapels and kiss until you’re breathless. Daron’s career, and his acceptance of his sexuality, are about to take a sudden, unexpected turn.

Orlando is as mysterious as he is beautiful, doe-eyed and nimble-fingered. To Daron, his presence seems to beckon something from deep within. When the two guitarists meet, they play duets and jam together to pass the time, but music sparks a deeper desire to connect, to touch, to love. But when Daron arrives in Spain he finds Orlando entangled in something more than simply sweaty sheets…

This Spanish Nights ebook also contains the complete erotic story “Home Sweet Home” as a bonus.

In this conclusion to the gay fantasy saga begun in THE PRINCE’S BOY: Volume One, in Volume Two thwarted lovers Jorin and Kenet must reunite in order to defeat their common enemy, the scheming mage Seroi. Seroi has twisted Kenet’s father’s mind and is set on ruling the country for himself… as well as making Kenet into his magically bonded sex slave. But the bonds of love, not only between Kenet and Jorin, but between other characters as well, may be stronger than the magical chains Seroi would use to enslave them all.

Warning: graphic sex in copious amounts, graphic BDSM, homosexuality.

The ebook edition includes “Sergetten’s Tale,” a bonus short story that did not appear online in the original serialization.

And here it is, the final official post of The Prince’s Boy by Cecilia Tan! Thank you, thank you, readers, for following the adventures of the boys for nearly two whole years! Kenet had the first word in the story, and so he shall have the last…

Epilogue: Kenet
I was in a small room deep in the castle archives, reading, when Velred crept timorously up to the door.

I saved him the trouble of having to disturb me by yawning and turning toward him. “Oh, hello, Velred. Is it time for banquet already?” It was not unusual for me to lose myself in the diaries and arcana for hours at a time, as I searched for knowledge about my power.

When Seroi pulled free of me at last, I had no fight left in me. That had been his purpose, of course, to break down my resistance. But I never begged for mercy. I never gave him that satisfaction. I never truly broke.

Oh Jorin, forgive me. This time I must ask you to forgive me the way I forgave you. I knew what he was going to do and there was no way around it. There was no way I could prevent any of it. I tried. You know I did. I tried to offer myself to him. But the mage believed you had to be defeated before he would try take me for his own.

From within the glare of the candles, I could barely make out what was going on in the room. Seroi dragged the king in front of Kenet, but what were they doing to him? I could not quite see nor hear, as the stronger Seroi grew, the more like a wall the ring of light and smoke became.

But then I could see the scuffle and feel the power shifting in the room. Now everyone out there was moving. Had reinforcements arrived? Perhaps they could, collectively, defeat the damn snake…?

CHARMING: Modern Gay Erotic Fairy Tales

Deadline: March 1, 2012 (EXTENDED!)

Once upon a time, in a land not very far away, Circlet Press was looking for erotic, modern-day fairy tales for the gay community. What happens when a young intern falls prey to the Big Bad Wolves of the New York stock exchange, or when an archaeologist stumbles across a sleeping prince in the ruins of Angkor Wat? From poisoned apples to glass slippers, classic fairy tales are full of sexual imagery if you know where to look; we want you to find those erotic threads and weave them into stories where the castle is an apartment building in Prague, and the Evil Queen is The Prince’s ex-boyfriend. Circlet welcomes sex positive stories with explicit representations of sexuality. All stories in this volume should be gay-themed (male/male focused) but the authors may be of any gender or orientation.

I tried to be stoic as the fight began. I tried to kneel off to the side where the mage had put me and draw no attention to myself. I needed him to believe me harmless and cowed.

When Jorin felled Bear, though, I am sure I must have been as wide-eyed as an owl. I had never seen Bear bested in combat, and I had never seen Jorin attack someone that way. I held my tongue, though, saying nothing, not even a whimper.

Oh, it was hard to watch Kenet display himself before the mage that way. It was even harder to watch him pretend to lust for the man. But I never doubted him. I never thought for one moment that Kenet might betray me, or us, for his own comfort or pleasure. I never thought for one moment that he was doing anything other than manipulating Seroi.

We were making our way through the twists of the tunnels that would bring us within sight of the Rose Gate when I heard the sound of footsteps ahead of us, someone climbing in a hurry.

Before I could react, Kan came bounding up the steps, his sword sheathed. He stopped short and just stared at the three of us in the gloom. “Kenet?”

“Yes, and Bear is with me, and… and our father.”

“Who is this, Kenet?” My father said from behind me.

Kan followed me through the passages. We went past the room that Kenet and I had shared in the years we had lived here, but there was no time to pause for nostalgia.

I was making for the tower that Seroi called his own. “If he is holding Bolan’s son and the other boys hostage, I would wager that is where they will be,” I said to Kan.

“My prince, this is… this was not in the plan,” Bear said nervously.

“Rescuing my father most certainly was in the plan,” I answered as I picked my way to the top of the Snake Ladder.

“You gallivanting off alone was not in the plan,” he clarified.

We approached the Rose Gate on horseback, in what felt like the most brazen sneak attack in the history of war. We marched right through the village, me and Kan in the lead, our faces hidden by the hoods of our cloaks, with several men on horse coming behind. Roichal and Marksin were not among them, however. They hung back, dressed as traders.

The people of the village eyed us nervously, but we were not challenged.

Bear came with me, and six of the Night Riders, and four of Marksin’s best men. My breath caught as we cleared the trees for the first time and I caught sight of the castle up the mountainside. Maldevar is the name of the castle, and the mountain, and the village which houses those who do not live inside the castle walls. Inside the walls, though, the castle was like a city unto itself, not so large as Port Aris, but quite sizable.

Looking up at the towers and the dark bulk of the buildings molded into the mountainside, I considered it a miracle that I had ever escaped from there.

I slept in his arms. Yes, I did. I was a fool to waste even a moment grieving over my petty illusions, wasn’t I? A fool to waste even a moment of precious time we could have spent together. We might all be killed in the coming attack on the castle. And my suffering was nothing when weighed against his. Nothing at all. I should have been the one tied to the post and called a fool.

I would waste not a moment more. I slept in his arms, where I had belonged ever since the first time I had clung to him and refused to let go.

I’ve got an erotic romance story in the new male/male ebook anthology RIDING THE ROCKET edited by Sascha Illyvich, just released by Sizzler Editions.

I wrote a fairly dark and twisted piece, somewhat dystopian. Here’s an enticing taste of it!
