So, I got talked into playing the part of Draco in a post-epiloque RPG called "All Was Well." Yeah, "AWW." It's very cute.

Lots of folks have taken parts as Hogwarts students as well as folks from the Harry Potter generation, but we're still in need of a Ron and Hermione! While I'm asking, it would be fun to have some of the older Slytherins around, too. We have Pansy Parkinson but not many others.

Yes, I know he's got 3 lovers, but they are all men. And yes, I know he barely has time for them all. But you know, I like to complicate things for him terribly.

So, I've been having an absolute blast playing the role of 19-year-old, virgin!Draco in the veiledintention game. (And we just lost our Bellatrix to real life. Please! Anyone who would like to pick up the role, go here to put in an app. We could use more Death Eaters overall... and a Kingsley, too?)

It's interesting, because it's writing, but it's collaboration, and improvisational acting also. Which means that reading the threads is not like reading a novel or story, but is akin to watching an improvisational acting scene, rather than a scripted movie or show.

I didn't intend for my character to become what seems like "the" central character in the scenario, but that seems to be what has happened. As Draco said to Harry in a recent conversation--if Voldemort was Harry's destiny, then Lucius must be Draco's. And things are just really starting to heat up, plot-wise.

For anyone who is interested to see the wild twists and turns his life has taken in a world where Lucius is trying to become the new Dark Lord and his peers are all trying to get on with their lives, look under the cut for the relevant chronological links to the game threads and character journals. (I quit logging the owls.)

I don't know if I'll keep posting updates like this or not. If people seem interested, I will. It's all one grand experiment in fandom and fic for me.
