Random Update-y Post
Mar. 24th, 2007 07:33 pm"Between Boy and Man," my Snarco WIP, will be done very shortly. I may have an flocked chapter up later tonight, depending on whether my neck hurts too much for me to type. Those of you not on my flist, once it is really done, I will be posting it in the clear (and beta-read and corrected, too), so don't worry! There will be plenty of Snape/Draco/Harry threesome action to go around.
So how did I throw my neck out? Carrying the cat on my shoulders, of course. *glares at cat*
I was so busy over the past several months that I blithely missed my LiveJournal one-year anniversary. It passed on like March 8th, I think. Um, go me.
Meanwhile, my actual birthday is coming up in like two weeks. But I will be on a cruise ship docked in Pusan Korea that day! So I won't be online in all likelihood. Actually, I will be online a wee bit. I'm taking this cruise with my parents for two weeks, going from Osaka, to Pusan, and then a bunch of places in China, ending in Hong Kong on April 19th. I was sad that all we'd see of Hong Kong was what you can see from the bus that takes you from ship to airport, so I decided to book a hotel for myself for one night.
The hotel I chose, which as it turned out had about the best room rate I could get, about US$90 for the night, is straight out of a Neil Stephenson book. It's called the Mingle Place and is the highest tech place I've ever seen. Just check out the web site at http://www.mingleplace.com
So anyway, if people are by any chance planning to leave me birthday greetings, I apologize in advance if I don't answer them right away! There is wireless internet on the cruise ship but it costs 50 cents a minute! Ouch! I plan to get on maybe just 10 minutes here or there to upload photos!
My RPG is collecting "theme songs" for the various characters and pairings in it. I decided that Coldplay's "Square One" sure as heck fits the Snape/Draco. For those what wants it I uploaded it here.
Meanwhile I really want a copy of the song "Never Be Lonely" by The Feeling, which is apropos for the Fred/Draco relationship in the same game. And maybe for all Fred's relationships, actually... Anyone have it?
That's all for now. Off to take some ibuprofen and put a hot pack on my neck. And then write smut.
