Advice needed

Okay, f-list, I need your opinions about this. I'm primarily a slash-writer, and you're mostly slash writers/readers if you're here. So I understand that this may skew the responses I get here a bit. But here's the question:
Should the HP Tarot Fest include gen stories? Or should we stick to slash/pairings?
I've started a draft of a prompt table HERE -- and if you have a look you will see that many of the plot bunnies that are likely to spring from the prompts are going to be gen/adventure. If *I* think that, and I typically see a slash plot in just about anything, that seems to suggest to me that a lot of good gen stories may come out of this.
But I really don't read gen, and I don't know if I'm getting myself into a huge heap of trouble by possibly encouraging gen and slash writers to mix? Will both populations be dissatisfied with the results of the fest?
Should I run two waves of the fest? The gen stories one month, and the slash/femmeslash/etc... in a different month? I could then allow a slash and a gen claim on each card?
