Cover reveal! New edition of Magic University: The Siren and the Sword!

Okay, I'm having full-on muppetflail about how beautiful this cover is! Seriously! I'm having trouble expressing how perfect it is because when I open my mouth all that comes out is a squeeing sound.

Fortunately, I can still type, though. So later this month we'll be re-issuing the first of the new editions of the Magic University books! THE SIREN AND THE SWORD, book one, will be out before Halloween from Riverdale Avenue Books!

Those of you in HP or Sherlock fandom might recognize the style of the artist, too, our own beloved Fox Estacado <3 <3 <3!!!

For those not familiar with the Magic U books, this is my LGBT New Adult romance/urban fantasy series about the hidden magical university inside Harvard, and the queer goings on there. Like many people's college years, Kyle's adventures start out sort of het and "normal"... and they don't stay that way at all. Kyle's bisexuality (or maybe pansexuality, since his adventures go beyond gender-based orientation...) is not only a major theme in the later books, it's might be a key plot point in saving the human race... (*cue epic John Williams soundtrack*)

Oh, WOW, that is absolutely stunning. I'm completely blown away by that artist (who I've never seen any work of before now, how is that even POSSIBLE?). Guh.

Also hmm, book sounds right up my alley. I may have to look into that at some point. :3

Fox is so awesome. I met her first through HP fandom, and she was in some fests I ran (HP Tarot) and lately she has put out some drool worthy Sherlock fanart, too.

And, yeah, I predict you'll enjoy these books. :-)

Yeah, the old versions should be unavailable. New ebooks should be live within a week though.

Beautiful cover!! I thought the artist's name sounded familiar—and it turns out my niece gave me a print of her 'Snape and the Patronus' picture. Gorgeous work!! I'm always super-delighted to see a fannish person in the professional arena. :-D

Nice! Yeah, I love her art so much. And it was great to finally be able to work together with her on something! These books have HP fandom roots, obviously, so it was fitting. :-)
