Petition about FF.net?

A friend of mine forwarded this petition to Fanfiction.net asking them to stop deleting thousands of fics? Is this really happening right now? Wow.
Have any of you had your stories deleted? (I haven't, because I've never put anything up there...)

Date: 2012-08-18 12:46 pm (UTC)But I've seen complaints from a lot of other people, including a statistic that said something like a third of the total HP stories got deleted (which is a huuuuuge amount). I think that's what lead to the massive rush of AO3 applications in the recent months.

And there's never been a decent appeals process or objective standards for their ratings levels. I don't think petitions will do any good; FF.net doesn't care if loses a few dozen or a few hundred users. It doesn't need to care if it loses a few thousand.
