Author Notes: Thanks tonishizono for beta-reading! I had been struggling with the fic I had been writing for the fest, but then Leochi posted her art of Draco as the Five of Swords... I abandoned the old fic and I wrote this one in one day. I know it's unusual for me to write anything below NC-17, but this fic just didn't warrant smut. Draco has flashbacks to canon moments in the books, and I've used the actual dialogue from those scenes.
