Blogging from Arisia
Jan. 20th, 2008 11:30 amHaving a fun time here at Arisia. Among the many folks on my flist(s) I've hung out with, let's see. Some of them have fled to IJ but might still have LJ's, too...
gatewaygirl is getting over a cold but seemed quite chipper at parties last night (okay, funny typo, I actually typed 'shipper' there instead of 'chipper' the first time...),
cluegirl came by my party Friday night,
rosefox I ran into in the green room for all of two seconds yesterday and I hope we get a chance to have an actual conversation, of course
clauclauclaudia is here and we went to dinner yesterday at Asmara (ethiopian restaurant in Central Square) with some other friends.
Hm, I know I'm forgetting people, but it's Sunday morning and cons are usually ending around now... Of course, this one is a four-day even so my brain is a bit boggled.
I didn't make it to the
hp_boston meetup at Tavern on the Square yesterday. Having too much fun here...
The writing erotica panel yesterday was fun. My friend Nomi is now doing some editing for Torquere Press, and she had some advice for the aspiring writings in the audience: don't just use spellcheck! She described one manuscript she read recently in which the protagonist worried that instead of a relationship he was getting just "one nightstand" and then adjusted the huge "bugle" in his pants... (to which I said, hey, I guess he was horny... badumbum).
