Just a Quick Update

Wrote 997 words on Oriens yesterday. Yay. It has taken me a week to do one day's worth of NaNoWriting. But, it's better than nothing.

Election Day today. I'm about to go off to vote now. I'd blather on about the ballot questions in Massachusetts but most of you on my f-list aren't even in this state, so instead I'll just send out warm fuzzy happy thoughts to everyone else casting their votes today, with the hope that everything works out better than things have been...

Starting this Friday I have permission to start posting the long, plotty Snarry I wrote for the Snape/Potter Dawn-to-Dusk Fest. The Fest itself has been pushed back a little to give folks some more time. It being the "what if?" challenge, everyone seems to have goten attacked by huge plot bunnies. (Yay!) My "what if" premise is, what if Snape didn't escape Hogwarts at the end of HBP? What if he got caught? So look for that to start Friday. It's also a gift!fic for the lovely cordelia_v!

OK, now I go back to the proofreading project from hell...
