Fandom is Neat

I was at Readercon last night, which is a literary science fiction/fantasy con in Massachusetts--not exactly a hotbed of slash writers. But I was not there two hours before I ran into some people who read and write HP fanfic. (Hi guys!) Maybe two hours after that I was discussing slashy fanart for Gankutsuou in the women's room. Yum.
