So I have to get up at 4:30 am in order to catch a plane. It is now 1am, which means we are looking at about 3 hours sleep as I have not packed yet either.... So what, pray tell, you are wondering, have I been doing for the last six hours when I was supposed to be packing and sleeping?
Um... writing a new Draco/Snape songfic? I heard a song on the radio today that put a story in my head, and well, you know how that goes. The song is "Breaking the Habit" by Linkin Park, and so I've written a story that sort of parallels the lyrics of the song. I have not read a lot of songfic but this made sense to me, with each section of the story going with a verse.
So, who wants to beta read this puppy? It comes to just about 4000 words. It is post-HBP and references some events in that book. It does NOT link up to my other Snape/Draco stories.
