Snarry-a-thon Fic Rec!

So I'm on the train on my way to CON.txt and I didn't mean to... but I just spent the past five hours of the trip reading a completely engrossing postwar Snarry from the Snarry-a-thon, which was recced by [personal profile] paean. I AM SO GLAD I DID.

Remember the dynamic of the broken and internalized-homophobia Harry interacting with the over-protective but cranky (but trying so hard not to frighten Harry) Snape we used to often see in Snarry, in fics like Cambiare Podentes by Jordan Grant?

This fic reprises that dynamic but in a postwar setting. Honestly, if I tell you too much about it my description will sound ridiculous and not come close to how wonderful this fic is. There's a grown-up Draco, Weasley family drama, and a Snape who is finally at peace with his demons--well, most of them.

Just go read it.

I didn't recognize the author but I've just gone and friended all their journals. Love love love love.

Oh my gosh! It was such a delightful surprise to discover this recommendation; especially to be mentioned in the same breath as Cambiare Podentes, one of my all-time favourite fics. I've only been in fandom for a short while, perhaps a year, so seeing this made me giddy and probably a bit incoherent as well. Thank you!
